LEARN TO BUILD RADICALLY COLLABORATIVE ORGANIZATIONS
Many business teams lack sufficient collaboration skills which wastes time and resources. They are less creative and have higher employee turnover, lower trust, longer lead times, and lower employee satisfaction.
With the Radical Collaboration® methodology workplace cultures become highly collaborative by creating a high-trust environment with mutual support, cooperation, healthy risk-taking, honesty, and openness.
Effective collaboration skills are developed skills
The Radical Collaboration® Trainer Certification workshop (RCTC) is a highly interactive seven-day course designed to teach individuals how to lead the three-day Radical Collaboration workshop. It is also a helpful follow-up experience for individuals who have taken the three-day Radical Collaboration workshop and simply want to strengthen their own personal skills.
Radical Collaboration is a highly engaging program focused on five core collaboration skills including mindset, soft skills, and a toolbox that individuals and teams need to build healthy and effective collaboration.
TRAINING FORMAT
The 7-day Trainer Certification program follows the same content as the 3-day Radical Collaboration workshop (Note: Next event is Jan 31- Feb 2, 2023), but the format is very different. Participants are assigned a module or exercise to prepare to present and then given time to prepare (usually between 30 minutes to 3 hours). Participants prepare individually or with a partner depending upon the exercise/module. At the end of the prep time, a participant or pair of participants is selected to present the module to the class. So, participants not only prep for the exercise, they experience it once again as either a class participant or as the trainer. Then, after the presentation, participants critique themselves, and get feedback from the class and from the trainers.
Participants will have some pre-work to do before the RCTC, e.g. read the 2nd edition of the Radical Collaboration book, watch some videos and prepare and video record a lecture on interest-based negotiations. Detailed instructions for this pre-work will be sent at least 6 weeks before the workshop or as soon as a participant registers if it is less than 6 weeks.
NOTE: The 3-day Radical Collaboration workshop is a prerequisite for this course (Note: Next event is Jan 31- Feb 2, 2023). Upon completion of the RCTC workshop participants will be eligible to purchase Radical Collaboration materials and deliver the three-day Radical Collaboration workshop.
WHO THE TRAINING IS FOR
The RCTC workshop is particularly appropriate for external and internal consultants and trainers who want to build more collaborative workplace environments. It will also benefit coaches who are helping others become more collaborative or more skillful at conflict resolution.

MORE EVENT INFO
The daily schedule of the workshop is a little unpredictable because the pace of each RCTC depends on the number of participants and the readiness of the group to move on to the next assignment. However, on most days we will start at 8:30 or 9.00 am and plan on ending the class around 6.00 pm. Some days may end a little earlier and some may go later depending upon our daily progress. You will also have extensive homework assignments each night for approximately two hours. Your attendance at all sessions is critical to your success and that of your colleagues so please arrange your schedule so that you can be present for the entire workshop (i.e., please don’t try to schedule meetings or telephone conference calls during the program).
